I have a question - how can Vera be set to automatically Sync to the new settings, when modes are changed past the time of a trigger?
Best to give you an example of the capability I am looking for …
In Away Mode: I have a scene which sets the thermostat to 63 degrees at all times.
In Home Mode: I have a scene which sets the thermostat to 70 degrees starting at 7:30 AM.
At 9AM while heading home from Vacation I set Vera from Away Mode, to Home Mode.
Ideally, upon change of mode, I would like Vera would look at the events that should currently be active and trigger any that are not - i.e. even though it is 1 1/2 hours past the trigger, the thermostat would be set to 70 degrees - turning on the furnace on to bring the heat from the Away Mode’s 63 degrees to the Home Mode’s 70 degrees.
Is this capability available with Vera UI7, or if not, how can this be done, or is this something that the Mi Casa Verde Programmers should consider implementing?

The Home Modes plugin can function as a trigger for scenes. I used it to set up a scene for each mode, so that I can set default conditions for said mode when the mode is activated.
Currently, I use it to command inside surveillance cameras to swing into the “not looking” position, and turn off any sirens that might have somehow got turned on, when the home mode is activated. I also have a setup for Away and Night modes to do other actions as well.
Update - problem solved - I decided to start by following ceefin’s suggestion. I went to apps and downloaded the Home Modes plugin. As soon as the download was done, the Mode appeared as a new device with which I could now create a scene. In that scene I set “changing mode” as the trigger; (e.g. from Home to Away). Then I set several devices (i.e. thermostat, motion sensors and lights) to be at their desired settings. I did this for both Away to Home and for Home to Away. This now sets the house to where it should be, immediately.
Easily solved - thank you!
