Mios not seeing vera

Vera3 is working perfectly with about a dozen devices. I can access my controller through home.getvera.com but now I want to use apps on my android phone. All of them require a MiOS account. I created an account and end up at http://cp.mios.com/mysystems.php

It says “I didn’t detect a device on your home network” shows a diagram asking to connect the unit. It’s already connected, it’s obviously on the network. clicking on the continue button does squat. I’ve tried connecting both directly to the vera and through the router… nada.

I’m so close to getting my apps working but what’s the deal with having these separate accounts? Seems unecessary. And there’s no way to know what active IP or server cloud or the dozen or so things these apps are asking me for.

You are running Vera UI7. It works through home.getvera.com. It does not work through cp.mios.com

Vera UI5 uses cp.mios.com.

If your apps of choice cannot use home.getvera.com, then they cannot be used with UI7. You need an app that supports UI7.

Can anyone provide a list of apps that work with UI7?

The only thing I can get to work so far is the Vera UI7 app which isn’t exactly stellar. There is extremely limited info about compatible apps.
