MiOS Marketplace login fail

I’m trying to install a plug-in. When I click on the green + on my dashboard it opens a new window. I click on the plug-in, it forwards me to its page. My only option is to login to my MiOS account. I ‘login’ and it states ‘error - login failed.’ Problem is, I am obviously already logged in to access the page.

The scenario is that I typically hardwire my laptop directly to my gateway which is prior to my router(to ease file-sharing woes through my router and network)…sooo I’m not technically on my local network. I can install the plug-in without issue while on my local network.

This is obviously a bug in the system nor the 1st time I’ve experienced this. Through trouble-shooting I figured it out…2 times mind you ;D, but it shouldn’t be an option if it doesn’t work. Can MCV correct this?

Hi –

I’m having the same problem with MIOS Marketplace. I enter my loginin and password and it says “Login Failed.” I have done this before without a problem… What has changed?

UPDATE 12/30/11: I am still getting the same error trying to login to MIOS marketplace. I’m using my mios login and password… Can anyone help?

UPDATE: Other threads suggest that there is a password incompatibility between mios and the market[;ace logins. Changing the password did not rectify the problem.

UPDATE: 12/31/11: I was able to download the plug-in on MIOS Marketplace using Firefox and a Windows 7 x64 computer. I’m not sure why it doesn’t work under Vista.
