I just recently added a second Kwikset deadbolt to my backdoor. I added a scene to lock all doors at once. As soon as I did everything went haywire. I wold find that one door was locked and Mios reported it unlocked, or vice versa and then vera would no longer control the lock until I manual changed it from lock or unlock and then Vera would pick it up again. After playing with it found that if you have Vera lock or unlock one lock and then attempt to lock or unlock another before it finishes it looses track of the state of the first lock. Seams like kinda of an obvious problem. I would think that almost everyone with one of these systems would at some point wan’t to lock all the doors at once. I found a work around by telling the back door to wait 30 seconds to lock, but wandered if anyone else has encountered the issue and if so if it is unique to the Kwikset locks, or if it is with the Vera system. Also I currently only have door locks controlled by Vera am wandering if this is an issue across the board. If I tell it to turn on the lights, and do something else at the same time without delay such as adjust the thermostat will I have the same problem?
i have 4 schlage locks and routinely lock all at once without any problems
