Just set up my Vera system. When I go to mios.com I see a page that says:
myMiOS systems
NONE
But under MiOS systems on my home network controlled by others it shows my Vera system. Is this correct? Shouldn’t it but under myMios systems instead?
Also, I am unable to access my system remotely, off of wifi. Any ideas?

Probably best to contact support, during their open hours, and get them to address the problem.
I did yesterday… Are they usually slow to respond?

It seems variable, depending upon how busy they get with other users (etc).
Also when I log into my Vera system it shows the following user can access the system remotely: Username automatedoutlet2 with a security level of guest.
What is that? I never created that user!?
Mmm. That’s not good.
If Vera is on your LAN, and you know her IP, maybe it’s time to try the following:
[tt]http://<VERA_IP>/cgi-bin/cmh/remove_ra.sh[/tt]
(Change [tt]<VERA_IP>[/tt] to the actual IP address. Background: @futzle’s comments .)
This will disassociate Vera from the user accounts. Then go back to cp.mios and associate Vera with your account.
Maybe a good idea to notify support and move this thread to the security section!
AutomatedOutlet is, possibly coincidentally, a home automation online store. A long-time, very reputable one.
How could this happen? Did you purchase it from automatedoutlet.com or www.thehomeautomationstore.com ? I think they’re the same or associated. They’re both in the same city in TX.

How do I move the thread?

I’ll try this when I get home in a couple hours. Thanks!
Wow, it sounds like you might have gotten a demo unit?

This worked, thanks!
Great, that’s good to know
