I can’t get my Vera 3 to ‘include’ my Aeon Labs Minimote. I’ve tried all combinations of sequences of button-pushing - Minimote Include then Ver 3 Z-Wave and the other way round. I’ve tried using the software’s ‘Add Device’ feature, including the advanced options. I’ve also rest the Minimote by holding down Associate and Learn before each step. Nothing works. After each attempt, the software reports “0 nodes found”, so I suppose the Vera can’t hear the Minimote. I have also upgraded the Minimote firmware.
I did have it running fine at one time, but I mislaid the Minimote and decided (maybe stupidy?) to remove the device from the Vera setup. I subsequently found it again, and instead of restoring a previous backup that included it, I tried going through the include process again. Now I’ve arrived at this situation.
Is there anything else I can try? Would a Vera factory reset help? If so, could I restore a backup to get all the settings bacK? Is there any sort of factory reset for the minimote?
