Recently i bought a set of RGB/W led lamp from applamp (similar to easybulb/milight).
All 3 ledlamps have this annoying high frequency pitch noise when switched on dimmed. All of them produce a somewhat different sound, so it seems to me it depends on the way the individual lamp was manufactured.
I learned so far this has to do with the electronic components built in the lamp (transformer/elco’s) that vibrate at a high frequency when dimmed.
Has anyone yet tried to solve this (except by sending back)?
Can these lamps be opened in a non-destructive manner?
If yes, would it make sense than to put some glue (or something) on the components, to stop them from vibrating so annoyingly?
