micasa verde 3 and insteon Control Keypad

heres the issue when I turn lights on via insteon keypad verda 3 is not aware that the lights are on neither htn via android
The same when I control the light via verda or android the keypad is not aware either
maybe re linking with keypad after linking with verde 3 would this rectify
any suggestions

Vera’s insteon support is limited and only one way. So when performing an action on the keypad will not inform Vera right away. Vera would have to poll the device to get the status. Have a look here at the following link. A user of this forum has done work to make insteon work better with vera.

is this something that can be fixed by micasa or are we out of luck when i bought this I never expected this to be an issue

This is something only MCV can answer. But since the heart of vera is zwave, I have a feeling that zwave will have a higher priority than insteon. The link I have provided you, it looks like fba has done some great work. If you are seeking better support for insteon, I would give his insteon plugin a shot.
