Mi-light control ?

Hi

Loving homewave but wondering how I can control the colours on my Mi-light bulbs. I have installed the vera plugin which works fine but when I select the colour lamp control in homewave it doesn’t show the lights as an available device. If I select use the dimmer control I can select the lamps and control them but not the colour.

I have the RGBW lights.

Any ideas ?

Cheers

He needs to add support into HomeWave. There’s discussion about this in a different thread. I’m sure you’ll see support in the near future.

Ok, thanks. I thought I’d seen a release note (v1.5 I think) that said it was now supported

Thanks

The white and RGB versions are supported. The RGBW one isn’t, but will probably included in the next version.

Awesome. Thanks.

The latest beta build of HomeWave now supports this lamp, I hope  Is there anyone already in the HomeWave beta who has one of these lamps?

Yes, I have the white and RGB.

Do you also have the RGBW? That’s the one that needs testing

No RGBW, so no help here

Hi.
I don’t have the beta but am happy to test with the rgbw if you need a tester

Thx

Hi Inveltr

got your PM - and have signed up for the BETA - unfortunately can’t reply to your PM, don’t have enough posts yet. Have emailed through your website. Hope thats ok.

Thanks for testing the RGBW bulb. Looks like support for these will be included in the next release

Hi,

I have installed in my veralite the WW/CW led bulb (white model) with V3 bridge.
Over MIOS (web) the plugin RGB+W works.
In my homewave version - 1.55 - do not work
I can test for you, if you re-add me to beta test group.

Luis

I tested the latest Beta last night - and it worked perfectly.

Great work intveltr !

Hi Luis, I added you to this build just now, so you can go ahead and install / test

you need some testing ?
i have a few RGB and white/white lamps here. (no RGBW)

oh one thing, (but thats not exactly count to this thread)
the miLight lamps do keep the dim level, in homewave its then really hard to find out a lamp is on or off if the dim level is low.

se attached example:
“Light Office” is Turned on at 22% … “Light Sofa” is off.
would be nice to have the dimmer behave like switches (as an option) … and display SwitchPower instead of Dimlevel on the ring.
