I attached few Merten superdimmers 577099 to my z-wave network. Vera shows 0 W power usage on every item even when lights are on. Is usage reporting supported on these dimmers? Has anyone got this working as it should?
I don’t have this device, but are there any configuration parameters to enable/disable energy reports, the reporting interval, etc.?
A forum user PM’d me the [tt]Capabilities[/tt] and [tt]Version[/tt] strings for this device; thanks!
From those I suspect the dimmer itself does not support energy metering.
Yes this seems to be more like Automator.app problem listing 0W usage on every device when item does not support reporting.
Ah, I see; I was wondering about that, as it shouldn’t show anything on Vera’s own Dashboard if the device doesn’t support metering (and you haven’t put in a number manually). I take it, it doesn’t.
