Make Mios rescan network

This effing Mios is a pain in the ass.
It shows the wrong ip address for my vera and it won’t let me add the system because of that.
How do I make it rescan my lan and find the right ip??
There’s no “options” on the webpage at all.

I should add, I already tried hard resetting the vera. Made new mios accounts, they all go right to the originally found vera without scanning again (that’s interesting), and tried setting the vera to the ip mios sees. No good.

What’s “hard resetting”? You power cycled the Vera?

You cleared the browser’s cache?

Which website are you going to for scanning your vera? What firmware is your vera on.

Log in, it scans for vera’s. Finds one but it shows the wrong ip so it can’t be “added” to the account.
Problem is it will not scan again and just shows the one it already found.
I changed the ip to the correct one in the url after you click “add to account” but it only connects that one time and doesn’t add the vera to the account permanently. Then, because the vera isn’t added to my account, it does not let me log in to the unit if I go directly to the local ip (see attached).

BTW, I’m on the newest firmware, 1.6.xx, can’t give the exact because I can’t log into it, but last time I was in it I tried to update and it said I have the latest.

UPDATE:

I found this thread ( http://forum.micasaverde.com/index.php/topic,23376.0/topicseen.html ) which is the same problems I’m having and after reading it, I have to go through getvera.com, which I tried and thought it was just a “advertising” site because there’s no Login section.
For anyone else with firmware 1.6.x, go to getvera.com and then click the “control” link. Yes, very stupid not to make this more apparent (like a Login link would be), but that’s not a link demonstrating how to control or what it can control, as it would appear, but instead that let’s you login to your unit.

ditto…as a noob, my early experience isn’t a good one…I’ve got my first post with a plea for help pending approval…
