Is there someone willing to program a Nikobus plugin for managing a Nikobus installation with the Vera?
the Nikobus code has already been developed as a binding for openHAB and is working excellent.
The Vera can talk to the Nikobus PC link module through an USB-2-serial adapter and the Nikobus itself is a bunch of switches and statuses which have a particular protocol/command structure.

Thanks in advance if someone could approach this as a challenge.

Most plugins are community driven and developed by people who own the device or has a need for the plugin. It is very rare for someone to make a plugin that does not also benefit them as well. There are two ways you’ll see a plugin made. One is that a developer has a need for the plugin and creates it or two were you roll up your sleeves and start learning and creating one.
