LUA file removal via SSH

I am following the guidance posted at UI4 – DSC Alarm Panel for integrating Vera2 with a DSC 1832 alarm panel. One of the first recommendations states “If the previous DSC plug-in was installed, then it is recommended to uninstall it first, and then remove the plug-in files from the via SSH”. The recommendation doesn’t get any more specific than this and I don’t want to just start deleting files.

Old DSC files appear in the /etc/cmh-ludl/ and /overlay/etc/cmh-ludl/ directories. Does the recommendation to remove previously installed plug-in files mean that I need to delete all files from both of these directories?

Thanks - M

Just remove the files in /etc/cmh-ludl and you should be fine. Just make sure you are removing the files marked with dsc.
