Lua Errors once per day - notification mechanism?

I have just started getting the “Lua Failure Lua Failure” error about once a day. Is there no way to generate an Alert when the device triggers this error???

The only thing I have recently changed in my setup is the addition of a Foscam 8910W over wi-fi.

Is there no way to generate a notification when the GUI clearly knows there is a problem and shows the device in a error (red) state?

OK, I think I built an alert for the “Lua Failure” via PLEG and input device property “Last Update”… Or maybe I should have used “CommFailure”?

Probably best to understand what the source/cause of the problem is, or you could be chasing the symptoms for some time.

In order to see that, folks would need to see the logs (LuaUPnP.log) at around the time the Lua failure occurred. This might require some digging.

In addition to the log, we’d need the precise version of the Vera Firmware you’re running, along with what your config looks like (3DS, 2DS, or IT100… Switched Network, or Direct connection, etc, etc). The more detail the better!!

The problem has gone away again. Happens for a few days after I power down the DSC panel for repairs/upgrades… While initially VERA seems to sync back up with the 3DS when powered back up, I think it takes a reboot (not just reload) of VERA - and then they will stay in sync.

Firmware 1.5.622 with 3DS on the DSC 1832. Switched network.

I get it every day. Tech support was looking at it and then stopped responding…
