Logs are full of ra_nand_block_checkbad

hi,
logs on my veralite are full of entries like this
ra_nand_block_checkbad: offs:750000 tag: BAD

according to syslog it’s happens approx. twice every 30 secs

logs are pretty much polluted with it. what’s that and how to fix it?
I just bought device couple of weeks ago: should I return it?

These messages are in my Vera’s “kernel log” and “System log” as well. Lots of them.

“nand” is memory so I hope my Vera isn’t dying…

Already submitted a trouble ticket.

Did you discover what this was? I have a similar situation, where my logs are full of
ra_nand_block_checkbad: offs:1e6c000 tag: BAD

Was there a simple fix (pls say yes). :slight_smile:

Sorry but MCV says this is ‘normal’.
Their reply was: “You should not be worried about the nand blocks on your unit, as even if you get another one you would be in the same range of bad blocks.”
