Having Upgraded Vera 2 from UI4 to UI5 having the following issue.
Logged in via cp.mios.com successfully but as soon as logged into local Vera UI it doesn’t look like I’m logged in at all - UI5 still displays “Login/Register” options in top right hand corner of screen.
When trying to login using URL link at top, or when prompted by selecting, say, Set Up, Unit Settings, then Vera prompts to login again.
Whichever way I try to login from local UI5 I get a “Login Failed. 1” error.
I can login fine from cp.mios.com, and user name is working fine via iVera as well.
I’ve raised a Trouble Ticket - just wondered if anyone had a similar problem or knew a resolution?
Also get similar problem when logging in from cpui5.mios.com - login successfully (get a Welcome username message in top right) but after selecting my device - welcome message disappears and login prompt returns in top right of UI. Subsequent attempts to login to access remote features generate a “Login Failed. 1” message
Same problem here. If I logged outside of my home network everything is working. But if I use local Vera UI then I can’t login successfully. If I try, I get error window “Login Failed. 1”
By the way, how to add new user to Vera if I can’t log in (if I am at home)?
If I try to log using http://cpui5.mios.com (I am now at my home) login window opens and I need to type my Username and Password and after that I get error “Login failed 1” > and I can’t see any devices.
If I use my internal IP-address I can see all devices but I can’t change anything that needs password (Users/Energy).
I will try to add that user next week when I am at the office (out of my home).
Thank you mcvflorin.
I have exactly the same problem as jukka - logging in at home works initially, after I select the Vera device - I am then prompted to login in order to do anything like adding other users which then fails - therefore I can’t add any users or anything that requires access to your server to do.
I tried logging in remotely from work today which doesn’t work at all - I get a server not found error after password verification succeeds on cpui5.mios.com
I can enable tech support access to my device which I have done.
I have this (or similar) issue as well, If I log into cp.mios.com from a remote network my Vera3 seems to function as expected, If I try to log in at cpui5.mios.com, either locally or remotely, I get “login failed” (am I supposed to be able to log in here with my existing login?), If I log in locally from cp.mios.com i can see all my units and when I click on my Vera3 I can see the devices but as another mentioned above the top right of the UI says “login” as if I am not and I can’t access several settings such as “unit settings” where it asks me to login and then the attempt fails
Now my local and remote logging is working again. I had to ask new password from micasaverde (Users/Forgot password). After I got new password everything started to working correctly (local and remote logging). I changed my password back to the old and all is working.
Jukka, thanks, that corrected my ability to log in normally, now I sometimes get a page full of gibberish and other times it will login both locally and remotely
Tried requesting a password reset to see if that helped - unfortunately it hasn’t resolved the problem for me. Also can’t access Vera remotely so don’t know if the issues are linked
Just wanted to say a big thank you to Florin and George at Mi Casa Verde for sorting out my problem, upgraded to latest version of MiOS and then also ran a LUA script which has sorted out both local and remote access - great stuff and in time for Christmas!
I have a similar problem. If I reboot the nit, it will rebuild and I can log in; however, after about a
N hour or so, I can not connect either locally or remotely. The unit is active But the web interface is not acting as it should. I downgraded the other day and this is my second attempt on UI5…
If the above does not resolve the issues, connect the LAN cable to Ethernet port 2 (the other one),
Change your computer IP address to 192.168.81.x. (X is other than 1). Login locally via 192.168.81.1.
Once you have logged in, go to Setup > network/wifi and set them back to automatic and click save.
Revert cable and computer to original state and try the first option again.
Please note: I am typing this by memory so the setup menu names maybe incorrect
