Lock that doesn't lock the door automatically?

Hi, I’m wondering if all Z-wave locks will lock automatically. I know that the auto lock can be disabled from most of them, but from what I’m reading, it seems that they are problematic. I want one that just plain doesn’t lock automatically… is there such an animal? I don’t know what “feature” that would be called so I don’t know what to look for. My husband does not like locks that are “automatic” for the garage.

Any suggestions?

I have the kwikset one and while it has an auto lock feature, it is easy to disable (flip a dip switch under the cover), I suspect the others are the same

The Schlage Be496 comes with the autolock disabled.

The Yale Keypad Deadbolt also comes with auto-lock disabled by default. Enabling and disabling it on the keypad is very simple and worked fine when I tried it.
