OK, after having 5 days of quite. Vera started Lighttpd failures again in the middle of the night (from about 11:30-12:30am).
Vera support finally got back to me with this response:
You have in a scene the following lua code:
restartNeeded = plugin.restartNeeded
luup.task(?Restart Vera to change TXO mode?, 1, "KiraRT "… lul_device, -1)
Could you please bypass that scene and let us know if you?re encountering any issues ?
Does this make sense? First I don’t have any scene’s I created with that code in it.
I assume that code is part of the KiraRT app that I installed.
I installed the KiraRT app about 2 weeks ago, the crashes has been occurring for months now.
I will reach out to the KiraRT developer but feels like a red herring to me.
You have received an alert: “Lighttpd failure 2015-06-26 15:17:24: (mod_proxy.c.919) proxy-server disabled: 127.0.0.1 3480 9 2015-06-26 15:17:24: (mod_proxy.c.1327) no proxy-handler found for: /port_3480/data_request 2015-06-26 15:17:24: (mod_proxy.c.1327) no proxy-handler found fo”. Do you have any other devices browsers, tablets, smartphone apps, UPnP or DNLA devices that might be creating connections to Vera’s webserver?
It is not at all common for Vera’s webserver to throw errors, such as you describe. Look for something accessing the webserver like other “smart” devices on your LAN or even possibly a bad plugin on Vera.
