I picked up a couple of these adapters to use with Christmas lights and such. The pair nicely with my VeraEdge and VeraPlus, but like most products, the status LED is set up as a ‘night light’ – i.e., when the module is off, the light glows; and when it’s on, the light goes out. That’s fine for wall switches, but it makes more sense to me to be the other way for controlling items that are outdoors, or out of sight.
The GE/Jasco products all have a setting to change the polarity of the LED. Does anyone know if the Leviton ones have the same? (I suppose I can prospect a little …) I called Leviton and got a quick (and curt), “No, they can’t do that,” but I’m not necessarily convinced. (Their support of the ‘Vizia RF’ products leaves something to be desired, IMHO.)
