At CES we just struck a deal with Leviton and they’re going to share with us the encrypted proprietary data in the switch so we can control all the special features. It will probably be 4-8 weeks before we have a release with this in it.
A deal with Leviton is a great news! Way to go, MCV!
What kinds of things will this offer?
Full support should offer the things previously mentioned in this thread:

So the manual gives these options for the Vizia RF+ Dimmer Line… there HAS to be a way to set these through zwave commands… (I hope!)Definition of A Modes
A-1) Energy Save: Sets the maximum brightness level for energy savings.
A-2) Minimum Brightness Level: Sets the minimum dimming level.
A-3) Preset ON Level: Sets the turn on brightness level regardless of the previous set light level (formerly Dim Lock).Definition of B Modes
B-1) ON Fade Rate: Sets the amount of time in seconds it takes the lights to turn ON to maximum brightness.
B-2) OFF Fade Rate: Sets the amount of time in seconds it takes the lights to turn OFF from maximum brightness.
B-3) LED Options: Sets the time period in seconds the Locator LED and Brightness display will stay on before extinguishing.
These can currently all be set for Vizia RF+ dimmers, but they cannot be set from Vera.
Any update on this? 4-8 weeks from CES has come and gone…
I’d love to hear an update on this too.
On January 14th, 2010, MCV mentioned it would take 4-8 weeks to implement these.
Please, pretty please?
Thanks,
Brian
Wonder why MCV they would state that would have it completed in 8 weeks yet months later they have nothing to show or an update.
That is pretty crappy customer service imo.
Just to separate things: there’s the local fade rate on the dimmer and there’s the fade rate of the scene. The fade rate that is supported in TE, is the fade rate of the scene. It would be nice if MCV would allow to select that too.
Vizia attributes?
MCV, we need an update. Can these be controlled in depth remotely?
+1 would love to hear if anyone has found a way of doing this. Thanks!
Did this ever come to fruition?
Thanks!
Partially, in my opinion. External LED control works; but there is more proprietary stuff I think.
How does one update the LED? I can’t find anything about this ability.
You can do this in a scene through the GUI; or programatically.
I know this message is super old, but I can not find any information on how to control the “special features” for the Leviton swithces. Can someone please point me where I would find this information. Need to adjust the maximum brightness level on my Leviton switches, would hate to have to do it at each switch, when Vera now has/should have all the “Special Features” so that I can do it in Vera.
Thanks
