Leviton switch worked great....then POP!

I have a basic Leviton (R51-DZ15S-1RZ) switch that controls a ceiling fan and light directly connected as well as 2 Leviton wall outlets. It worked great since I installed it last week until today. Went to turn it on and there as a POP noise.

Both wall outlet lights were out and I had to reset them to get my Vera Lite controller to see them again. No big deal.

But now the switch isn’t visible to the controller. It works with the directly wired fan/light but it’s invisible otherwise.

I tried unpairing it, deleting it, doing a factory-reset and pairing it again.

But it won’t pair.

Does anyone out there have any tips?

Thank you!

Sounds like you let the smoke out … the down’t work without that magic smoke

You should be replace these under warranty.
I have always though of Leviton as one of the better brands.

Well it’s wired properly and was working fine. And it still appears to function right other than not pairing. Putting it in inclusion mode makes the led flash and everything. I’m hoping it’s just confused somehow.

I’m also confused what could have happened to make all three devices freak out at once.
