Leviton 4 button scene controller with local load

Hi,

I have 2 of these controllers and for some reason they both lost their associations with my Vera 3 and I had to remove them from Vera, reset them and then re-add them. The only problem is that I cannot figure out how to exclude the local load from Vera and when I delete them from UI5, they re-appear after Vera configures all of the Z-wave devices (even though I have auto-configure for these turned off).

Does anyone know how to delete a dead node from the Z-wave chip?

IIRC, you can use buttons 2+4 to include/exclude the local load (but potentially only if the scene controller part is still included). Alternatively, try cutting power to the controller, then use the trash can in Vera. (The Z-Wave chip inside Vera will refuse to forcibly remove the node, if it believes it isn’t actually dead. So when Vera reloads and scans the chip, the node will still be there.)
