Not layup but Luup: downloading Luup plugins. Autocorrect!

I have been trying to install the plugin Alternate UI. From the docs it needs a Lua plugin. However my Vera keeps reporting downloading plugin and the app doesn’t work. I am not sure how to check what it is trying to download.

I have removed the app and reinstalled but that hasn’t worked. The logs aren’t helping me since I am not sure what I need to be searching for.

Any suggestions?

Do you have the app manually installed?

Verify the plugin number in the Advanced tab.

The ALTUI plugin/app is 8246

If you haven’t got anything special I.e customised UI, you could delete and do a reinstall, other way force an install or update.

Yes plugin is 8246. I used the url to install. I have deleted and reinstalled a few times. I still get no handler. I have cleared cache and tried different browsers. One thing that is interesting is I do not have the on and off buttons on the device only reset. I have tried a lot of methods but cannot see what is wrong. The only thing I didn’t do is manually install the files as the plugin did that for me I assume.
