What a pain in the but! I’ve had nothing but problems with communication problems on these door locks and also the Aeon 4in1 Motion Sensors!
If anyone can shed some advise for “tweaking” some settings to improve communication between these devices that would be fantastic! Communication to Vera should not be a problem there are plenty of other ZWave devices around the and close to the locks that they should be able to communicate through.
I had an issue once with my Vera Edge with lost connection to a Schlage Lock which was fixed after multiple attempts but somehow left my Kwikset Lock no longer communicating. What I did was excluded (after figuring out the steps that is) the Kwikset & re-included it like a new lock. All locks have worked Great since. This was my last resort since it was the most time consuming fix but it was worth it.
Doesn’t help you any, but I’ve had no problems with two Kwikset 910s and a VeraLite controller. Not a huge distance between the controller and locks though.
Ya I think I’m going to have to make a portable power supply and share the wifi on laptop though LAN port and walk around with the VeraEdge and start over not looking forward to it. I’ve got about 30 z-wave devices to redo.
