Does anybody know if a Nevo S70 can receive status from the kwikset deadbolt as well as send the lock and unlock command when set up as a secondary remote? If the S70 can send the codes, what are the values? 0 = lock, 99 (or 255)= unlock? If I’m correct in reading a bunch of posts, only the vera and some schlage encrypted devices can send the lock and unlock commands.
Is there any more Nevo users with Vera2 out there?
How did you set up your S70 with Vera? I have a Q50 and need to set it all up with Vera. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You.
Unfortunately, AFAIK, there is no way to directly control the locksets from the Nevos, but if you have an S70, you can create a widget that controls your locks through Vera (through HTTP). I created one for my schlages, before I upgraded to Vera2, and UI4. I can test it tonight or tomorrow when I get home to see if it still works with Vera 2, UI4 - just don’t know if the http requests have changed. This widget is just a button - labeled/colored per the status of the lock, updated every x seconds, and allows you to lock the door if it’s unlocked, and unlock the door if it’s locked. The only two values that need to be plugged into the widget are vera’s IP address and vera’s device number for the lock.

I tested this nevo widget last night with vera2, ui4, and my kwikset deadbolt. Works great. Trying to clean up the widget and make it portable so it can be posted. Currently the widget also includes the camera at the front door, so I can see who is at the door before unlocking it.
