I’ve been using a Kwikset lock for about 13 months now. It’s been working great. Now, the battery level is getting low.
My questions are:
-Once the batteries have been replaced, do I have to re-program the lock?
-Do I have to go through the include/exclude process with Vera 2 UI4 (as if the lock is brand new)?
-Is there anything special I need to know about the battery changing process?
I also have a Schlage lock that will need a battery change soon.
I own one and you can replace the batteries without reprogramming it. That said, don’t let the batteries drain to less than 40% according to a Vera 2 or you won’t be able to unlock the door without your key
on the schlage take care not to hit any buttons while the batteries are out, you could loose your programming that way, otherwise not special tactics needed
