Keypad Gate Opener - Any Wired Compatible With Vera 3?

We are installing a sliding gate and fence next to building. We already utilize Vera 3 and deadbolts on facility. We’d like to stick with Vera 3 system for the Sliding Gate but don’t want Wireless. Are there any keypad’s that I can wire directly to the Vera 3 (so I can assign/unassign key’s, view history of access, etc.). We can run Cat 6 from Vera 3 to the Keypad(s) that’s not a problem.

Any help is appreciated, hard to find much info on current keypads to see if they are or aren’t compatible with Vera 3.

I haven’t seen anything like that, but then I don’t see everything from this backwater of the world.

The closest consumer item that matches your description is a security system keypad. If you’ve already got a security system, perhaps you can program the gate and its keypad as a separate partition. Lock down the keypad’s features so that random strangers pressing buttons on it can’t do any harm. Wire the security system panel to the Vera.

If you don’t already have a security system, this might still be the cheapest option, even factoring in the cost of the panel.

This keypad behaves really well I’ve installed it on a network and as a stand alone unit and it has built-in Rex wich could be wired to Vera to avoid wireless. the bad thing about this keypad is that since it can act as a stand alone unit all of the wiring is easily accessible right behind the keypad wich can be secured with some creative wiring but even though they didn’t get the gate open they still destroyed your keypad I guess it all depends on the site, what’s available and what areas are important to protect

“built-in Rex”

What does that mean? Any other on market, or this only model? Seems expensive for a gate controller.

Is your SEG-1 mounted outside? Is it weatherproof?

Rex is short for request to exit usually its a motion inside to let you back out when needed sometimes its a button in any case momentary short on rex from a drive way sensor to,let you back out when you leave
