Javascript errors on Advanced - Net & Wifi

Hi.

I’ve searched the forums for similar problems, but can’t seem to find a reference to my problem.

I need to alter the Network settings from the mios dashboard in UI4. I go to Advanced, choose the Net & Wifi tab, and the current settings load up.

However, the two buttons I would like to press (either “Reset to default network settings” or “Save and Apply”) both fail in every browser I’ve tried due to a javascript error.

All I need to do is correct the “How does Vera connect to the Internet?” setting and change it to “Through another gateway.” Then of course, save it. But I cannot.

Any advice on how to work around this, or any hints about configuring this manually via ssh?

What version of the firmware are you running? 1.1.1047?

Hi, yes, 1.1.1047.

there is a bug which doesnt allow these changes remotely, they will only work if you are on the local network

By local network, do you mean “plugged into the ethernet jack of the Vera” or “in the same house as the Vera”? I ask because I’ve tried from a machine in the same house as the Vera, but not by plugging a computer directly into the Vera.

I mean from the same house (logged in locally) doesnt work in remote access, sounds like you have a different issue
