Thanks,

How are these controllers? I may add one to my order.

I bought a couple for my self and tested it with Vera today. I had to include it twice for the button presses to activate scenes however. Also, they are opposite of the Leviton’s that I am used to. Right = On, Left = Off for Jasco and Left = On, Right = Off for Leviton. If you pop the wallplate off, you can gang multiples together as well.

That is really affordable! Any idea what the extra buttons are at the bottom?

Now I can’t do the Z-Wave hack job I was going to try to do by cutting up a HA-09WD to fit into a Decora Switch plate cover. I was all set, it looked like it would work well and look decent, except the wife didn’t like the black buttons.

The 4x buttons on the bottom are Add/Remove for adding/removing devices from Groups/Scenes and Group/Scene for selecting the function of the buttons to either control the Groups or Scenes.

I set one of these up without Vera to test and it works with the Vizia RF+ dimmers/switches. It did not like the Intermatic plug-in modules (lamp/appliance). The appliance would not even learn in and the lamp would learn in but not respond. I have yet to test with Leviton lamp/appliance or HomeManageables.

As a side note, these can only be Secondary Controllers, not that you would want this to be a primary.

…but it works fine through Vera, will it control any scene and combination of devices that way?

Thanks Barry

I have a scene that turns on an ACT appliance module, a Leviton appliance module and a FortrezZ SSA-02 and another that turns them off (left/right rocker on the keypad). I did notice that the off is almost instantaneous but the on takes about 5-10 seconds.
