iVera 1.0.2 update

Hello,

I wanted to send an update to let you know that iVera 1.0.2 was sent to Apple. This release will have better UI4 support, allow selection between multiple Vera as well as some new features and bug fixes.

It will be available for download on the AppStore as soon as it’s approved by Apple.

Any work on when the App update will be approved and released?

Unfortunately this is out of our control, the update is currently “In Review” based on Apple’s latest information, so hopefully it will be approved/available very soon.

Hello,

iVera (and iVera Free) version 1.0.2 has been approved by Apple and is now available on the AppStore for download!

I checked and iTunes did not find any updated for iVera. But if you do a search in iTunes both iVera and iVera Free apps are found and show they are versons 1.0.2. Why is it not showing the update for people that already purchased iVera?

Not sure about that, Apple just reported the update to be available so maybe it takes a little bit of time before it is visible in the Update tab.

Note that if you redownload iVera using the same iTunes account you bought it with in the first place, you will not be charged again.

I Shutdown and restarted my iPhone and it found the iVera update. iTunes still is not finding it as an available update. I’ll restart iTunes and see if that works.

I just downloaded the update. However, I keep getting an “iVera Connection Error - Go to Settings and verify your configuration” message. In the settings menu, I put in my Username and Password. Automatic Login is on and selected my Vera with the 4 digit serial number. What else am I missing ?

Hello,

  • Can you try to do a “Reset All Settings” in Advanced menu? You can also do it via the iPhone Settings apps, go to iVera and enable Reset All Settings there.

  • After you put your username/password, what does the description reports on the selected vera (you can click on the blue chevron to see it)?

I did a reset in the Ipod settings app as requested

Description reports the following:
Name: (null)
Serial Number: reports the correct serial number
Firmware Version: 1.0.979

Local Access
IP Address: the address is correct

Active Remote server
Active server: ra1.findvera.com

Remote Servers
ra1.findvera.com with a check mark

Users
my username which is correct

I know that I have an older firmware but everything worked just fine in the previous iVera. I’m not going to update since there is no official firmware at the moment.

1.0.979 is an old UI2 firmware indeed … note that there is still a newer official firmware available for it at http://forum.micasaverde.com/index.php?topic=3493.0

Could you send me an email at iVera-bug@thinkiwi.com so I can open a ticket? Thanks!

I just sent the email. Thanks.

Thanks for your prompt reply and help. I have addressed your email and sent the information you have requested.

Been using the new version 1.0.2 iVera for a few days now and it’s a huge improvement for iOS 4 users! Keep up the good work!

works like a champ…

Thanks for all your help and support. I got it to work with the new app you sent me. This is great technical support !!!

@wseverino I see that you have a huge zwave network. I’m very impressed. My question is how did you convince your wife to let you install all this equipment ? Maybe you can give me some tips or advice…LOL

LMAO! She approved the first 10 things a couple years ago due to a bonus at work then things just started to appear in my house…I don’t get in trouble till she spots them!!!

Purchasing iVera now. The multiple vera support was what I was waiting for. Thank You

I don’t get it. It doesn’t allow me to add a 2nd vera for my other Vera at my 2nd home. This is why I bought this!

The developer explains it in this post:
