iTach WIFI2IR on UI7

I’ve been trying to get my WIFI2IR to work using various methods described on this forum; all of which revolve around creating the three XML files; the I, the S, and the D files.

I’ve not had success with UI7.

I’ve taken working copies of the XML files, uploaded, everything looks right but the iTach doesn’t send out the IR signal. I get an OK but the IR signal has not gone out.

When I create the device after I’ve uploaded the xml files, there’s no option for me to associate the device with the specific port on the iTach (this option seems to be there only on UI5)

Here is what does work though: Sending a command directly through the GC100 plugin. I can create a scene, and in the advanced view, select the appropriate port, and using the SendProntoCode action - I’m able to successfully communicate with the iTach. This option doesn’t work because I can’t upload all my IR codes and can’t set any of my IR devices up as actual devices.

I’ve looked all over the forum…without any solutions. Everyone seems to just accept that this doesn’t work with ui 7. Please help.

Did you ever find a solution ? I am trying to get my GC-100-12 to work, but so far without any success, even though I am on UI5. I am trying to send IR commands via a scene which worked with my SQ remote plugin, but it doesn’t with the GC plugin. I have posted in another thread but got no response so far

UI7 when will you do what UI5 does???
