I have a iTach IP2IR unit, Vera2, and SQ remote.
Im having a crazy time trying to understand how to get it to work.
Anyone have an iTach unit and getting it to work?
Im willing to try either way to get the IR codes into the system; learn the codes into the iTach or get the HEX codes of the internet and create a D and/or I file to upload.
Im guessing some ppl would love to see a step to step on how to get these to work.
I have tryed a few thing; Tryed to learn codes to iTach but all i can do is save the codes to a txt file and cannot find the codes in iTach or Vera.
I have tryed to create a remote by going into new device and ir remote, picking a make and model, but after i try to download it i get an error “Luup:Failed to download all plugins. Will retry in 10 minutes.” and it never downloads.
I have also tryed to edit/use original the LG code file that is on the forum.
No way can i get the device settings on Vera to get me a remote tab to use the remote or see the commands on the SQ remote. On the SQ remote i will see the device name and that it is a media device, but when i go to assign it to a button the list says no commands.
What am I doing wrong?
If you didn’t already do it then you should make sure you have the latest firmware?!
There was also someone else in another thread that had this sort of problem where the IR plugins would not download; I think MCV logged into the users Vera and corrected something… It wasn’t specified, but this could have been a firmware update also!
