Dumb question but when I look at the other end of the cable, it looks like a male end where the other side is a female. How does that work as it looks like on the photo both ends would need to be female (attached)?
Linked ones are female - female? Search for dupont female to female.

I have bought an RS232 over IP Server device. I have until now been running RS232 to my powermax pro. On my Vera Plus i want to change to IP based communcation. Do i just enter the IP address in the Develop Apps → Serial Port Configuration and clear the device number field?
