I’m trying to delete the Wundergroud Weather App as it’s killing my Vera, again.

I tried it over a year ago, and the same thing happened, so i should have known. I thought i would try it again to use in Smart thermostats and conditions i use, but my Vera just obviously hates it.
The app itself is working great, can’t fault it.
It causes my Veralite to crash a few times a day, but the devices all come back in strange states: thermostat set points changed, reporting incorrect device status (requiring a manual poll or operation), Virtual switches changed state, scenes not firing etc. Very unhappy vera.

I have tried from Apps - Uninstall. It comes up with the Please wait, and then the Plugin uninstalled, but the devices are still present, even after a reboot.
I’ve tried clicking the bin icon on the parent device too, same thing, looks to be doing it, but it’s still there after hours and/or reboot.

Is there another way to remove the app?

Still no answer from support and vera’s crashing a lot.

Did you try going to the APPS page and clicking uninstall ?

Yes, and also on the parent device and clicking the bin. Nothing.

Tried accessing via Chrome and safari, via wireless and wired.

Try restoring a backup from before you added the device.

It sounds like you have pushed the Vera Lite past it’s limits … and it will not allow you to save any changes … including deleting a device.

How do i access the back ups on the server?

I remember there used to be a list of dates on the backup tab, but there’s nothing listed.

I have backup on server ticked.
(i run a RFX so the USB port is used for that, not a USB, and i haven’t done a recent local copy.

Being a muppet - had to be logged into my account even on local wifi.
Got the list of back ups.

All done and restored. App gone and never to be installed again.

Thank you. Just needed a nudge of confidence to do it.
