Running UI5 on a Vera2 without issues until today.
So I downloaded a few plugins to test and experiment with, and have a few simple scenes programmed in for 1 particular switch to simply turn it on and off at specific times of the day.
The problem I’m now having is that Vera will not delete those scenes or uninstall the plugins. Whenever I go through the motions of deleting a scene or a plugin I get the proper pop up box notifying me the it’s being deleted but nothing happens. The scene popups again in the Automation tab, and the plugin still shows there under the devices tab.
Vera seems to reboot properly as I get the “Unit busy” message in the status window, but the following messages are displayed as well:
Luup : Failed to download all plugins. Will retry in 10 minutes.
GarageDoor : Initialize DoorSensorDevNum
I’m having exactly the same issue. Same message. I’ve tried to uninstall plugins that I don’t use and most of them say they uninstalled, then come right back in the list of plugins. Also, turning off “Auto update” doesn’t take on any of them.
Finally, the VeraLite refuses to update from Running Version 1.7.481 to Latest Version 1.7.690. It does everything but after 15 minutes and a reboot it’s still sitting at 1.7.481.
Update: after using SSH and some more screwing around, I finally got DataMine and PLEG uninstalled. I’m no longer getting the “Failed to download plugin” message. I am getting “unable to write user data” 14 days ago alert, but I cannot seem to find it in the alerts page going all the way back to July.
Still, I cannot upgrade from 1.7.481 to 1.7.690. Everything looks like it’s working, but then after letting Vera do it’s thing, it still says it’s on 1.7.481. WTF?
Update 2: Deleted a bunch of alerts and the problem one vanished. Tried to update to 1.7.690 Now it and the failed download message are back again.
