is www.micasaverde.com out of air ?

I can not have access to website…

someone more with the same problem ?

They are updating the site. It looks like they’ve messed with the DNS of the main site, redirecting to a beta site.

I’m sure it’ll settle down in a bit, but their web development and cutovers seem rather amateurish. Kinda like UI5 pages.

hmmmmmmmm

then, let’s wait…

thanks Z-waver !!

This was posted on their facebook page:
Over the last 24-36 hours some visitors many have experienced slower load times, and or, intermittent outages on our website. This was due to a highly coordinated, global, brute force attack on sites using the WordPress platform.

The attacks, which are targeted at administrative accounts, appear to be coming from a very sophisticated botnet that may be comprised of as many as 100,000 computers worldwide. It?s been estimated that this botnet has the power to test as many as 2 billion password in an hour.

Again, this was a very organized and well executed effort. The attacker?s specific methodology is such that every IP is sending only one request each. Making it much harder to combat.

However, based on the Network Operations Team?s strict adherence to our comprehensive ?Enterprise Information Security Policy?, none of our webservers were compromised. Nor were any of our other services (Portal, Shop, Support, etc.) impacted by this attack.

Late last night CloudFlare rolled out an update to our Web Application Firewall to combat the attacks and traffic has since, for the most part, returned to normal levels.

In the event these attacks escalate again (to disruptive levels) in coming days, here are direct links to the portal, shop, and support sites.

As always, we take your safety and online security very seriously. Please use this event as a reminder to review the integrity of all of your personal passwords to ensure you are well protected.
