Is vera xmpp protocol ready ?

Hi all,

For now, I use xmpp protocol to send immediate notifications (I don’t want use google and don’t have an Iphone) to what I want (phone, PC, etc …)

Is it possible to use xmpp on Vera ? I see that Verse is a xmpp library for lua.

Does anyone know something about it?

I know that UI5 is out and give work, but nobody has an information ?

No way to use xmpp client on Vera ?

I have not seen anyone bring up xmpp protocol on the forum in the past. If there is a lua package, you might be able to install or port it over. But out of the box, I want to say no.

There is a library “Verse”, but I’m not sure to port it. It’s to hard for me Now.

So I have to stay with my external xmpp client to send Vera2 notification.
