I’ve gone through this with several other small HA companies. Last one was ThinkEssentials. Boards are very active then slow down, then a trickle. Usually means people have moved on to the next latest and greatest. The company falls soon after. My Spidey sense is tingling.
Where would you get that idea? The forum is very active and development is active as well.

Just feels slower to me, the continuing UI changes and problems, and the lack of strong participation by MCV. I hope your correct. I like my Vera.
The last month has been slow due to the holidays and CES. MCV’s communication has always been spotty. But they are still communicating. There will be days where they communicate days on end, and days where you wont hear a peep. I do not see MCV going anywhere any time soon.

Like @garrettwp said, they’ve been pretty busy prepping for CES and their communication frequency has always been up and down anyways. There are also a load of new issues with UI5,V3 & V. Light issues to be resolved also, and other competitors to try to get ahead of the game with ![]()
They were there at CES with a strong representation, and with a huge shipment of Vera Lights and V3’s that they’ve ordered, they need to be sold! Besides, there always seems to be a steady trickle of new users/app developers coming here in increasing numbers; so it looks to me like they are doing OK to me.

Past December was the busiest month to date in terms of New Topics (326) and New Posts (3114).

Never thought about it that way. It could be me!! Sorry MCV.
hmmm when i read the first note in this thread i was kind of agreeing as I’ve started a number of threads with no response but if i just joined the forum at a bad time i will give them a break, its certainly less active than the HS or squeezebox boards - but probably to be expected.
I’ve asked a few off-the-wall or obtuse questions too that were not answered. That does not by any means mean that the forum is dying.
