I got this “Plug-in Lamp Dimmer Module” at homedepot. It says Zwave. Before I open it, is it compatible with Vera. I know it should since its Zwave, but just wanna be sure before I open it.

If you mean the Leviton Decora Z-Wave model that they (usually) have on their Wink display, then yes… Both the in-wall and plug-in versions are standard Z-Wave dimmers that work properly with Vera.
