Been running for a year+ with no problems. All of the sudden the 2 light switches nearest to my Veralite work, but take forever(spinning circle on Android app), the rest of my devices don’t get a signal. I attempted to delete my light switches in the basement and re-add them, of the 5, 2 are able to be included after deleting, the same two that could be controlled before. The rest don’t want to be included. So is this a Veralite issue, or and issue with one of my switches that in turn that screws up the mesh network and not send the signal to my other devices? I love my Vera gateway, but just wondering if the one I have is shot and should buy another or what.
I would try a Power Cycle (Reset Z-Wave chip) followed by a RESTORE from backup including the Z-Wave network.
Have tried numerous resets of the Veralite, now attempting a restore from 2 weeks ago(before problems started). Will let you know how things work out.
Well, after upgrading firmware to latest and getting z-wave network restore options along with system restore it appears everything’s back to working. It’s amazing how many hoops I had to jump through to get this working again.
