Is it possible to set the dimmer level with the light off & not have it turn on?

I want to be able to reset a dimmers level to say 50% after it has been turned off.

Not that I know of.

I, too, would love to know if its possible. Right now I’m running a scene on a timer to reset the brightness by turning it on.
