IR unit compatible with vera box?

Hi,

I’m kind of new to domotica and just starting out. I would like to operate my philips TV and home cinema set true Mios vera v.2 box to my Ipad with Ivera app. Found a lot of different connectivity options for a IR unit (IR Trans - Products and orders - How to order).

What kind of IR unit would I need? which connection is best suited with the Mios vera box? (ethernet, Wlan? etc.)

iVera is probably good for basic vera control, however I think if you want to use Vera for this then I would use SQremote as its more designed for this type of thing!

Yes SQ Remote is doing it the right way, by keeping IR separate from Vera. I can’t wait for their solution and I’ll probably never put my ipod down again.
