I am looking for some advice. I have read a lot on this forum but, still can?t figure out my best option. I have two things that I want to get my Vera3 to do. First, I want to use a Pronto (IR) remote to control a few Vera scenes. Second, I want to have Vera control two IR devices. I presently have a Xantech CC12 connected to a Everspring SM103. This works for the IR to Vera but, I think that there must be a better way. Please suggest Global Cache, Kira or some other system. I don?t want to buy a system that I won?t be able to use. I use a single KIRA module to both trigger Vera scenes from my Harmony remote and send IR commands to my AV gear from Vera scenes. I wrote separate plugins for each direction. The plugins can learn IR from remotes and can also import Pronto codes. See KIRA Plugins.
