IR commands under Scene Setup dont Match AV Gear under Devices

HI all,

I started setting up my av gear this weekend and Im a bit puzzled on how to get things working. I have my usbuirt installed and working. I started with my TV and learned the remote into devices under new IR device. The problem is when I add, say power off, to a scene it doesnt seem to work. I can get it to work by using luup code under the scene with the SendProntCode action but I cant seem to get this working by simply picking the TV under advanced then setting it to discrete off/on or even off/on toggle. The remote under av gear control works just fine also. AM I doing something wrong or does using the advanced tab require some special setting somewhere?

I never could figure out why IR commands didnt work in a scene but when I used them on the remote under a/v gear they did, so I used this guide to create my own and all is well now. No extra unused commands when looking to control something either!:
