Isn’t UI4 flash based? If so, the the iPhone cannot connect to it…
UI4 is not flash based.
I’m trying to install the Smart Phone Plug-In to test and Mios Marketplace isn’t coming up right now…Could be just me.
What’s odd is that my iphone 3G did connect before with the old interface.
Maybe it’s the new version?
Using an iPhone or iTouch, if you are local, just use Safari on the iPhone to connect to your Vera’s IP address, or if you are away from home use cp.mios.com through Safari. Both look and work great.
I’ll see if I can get the Smart Phone Plug In Installed again to test it here.
Got it installed, both the Smart and Dumb Versions, make sure you are logging into MO
Both work with UI4, but like I mentioned you get the full UI4 experience using Safari (with all of the colors ![]()

I tried this, but safari keeps closing down and sending me back to the home screen of the iphone.
Sounds like an issue with Safari…
I have tested it on iTouch OS4 or iOS4 (or whatever they want to call it now?) and OS3 iTouch, both on Safari and they work. Also on my Dell Axim PDAs and they work with the Smart Phone and Standard Plug-ins with UI4.
Maybe try a different browser, there are so,e free ones on the app store, couldn’t hurt. Or, make sure you are up to date with Safari.
It works on our 3 different devices but they are all up to date with the latest releases !
I’m wondering if this isn’t some sort of certificate issue again?!
I would recommend SQ remote if you are willing to pay $50 for the full version or perhaps even iVera if SQ remote is too rich for your blood!

You’re right, Safari asks me about the certificate, and when I say go ahead anyway, it closes down…
Do like strangely said and try Opera.
@blazinace, It was Shady that mentioned Safari, I just said use SQremote or iVera!
Is your OS on the device up to date? There was a post in the beta forum that was similar about updating the certificate manually. I’ll try to find the info on it and post it here.
This was the post I was talking about by @FrankHill73:
My iPhone is now seeing MO correctly.
For me, it was a matter of installing the GoDaddy *.mios.com SSL certificates on my iPhone. I’m assuming that the iPhone doesn’t display images from untrusted sites and this is what was happening.
Unfortunately, the only way to resolve this issue and install the certificates on your iPhone is to utilize the Apple iPhone Configuration Utility application to create a .mobileconfig" payload that installs the certificates. It’s not hard to do if you know what you’re doing.
I cannot attach the certificate payload to this message because .mobileconfig is not an accepted file file type. If you want the payload, send me a PM and I’ll send it as an email attachment “cpmios.mobileconfig”
Sorry about that.
Hi… it does work with opera, but still not safari.
Thanks!

HI. I’m not sure what a PM is.
PM = Personal Message
If you look at the top of the page it should have a link to your PM inbox (click “0 messages”) where you can compose a PM. You can also click the small green scroll item next to somebodies post and it will automatically compose an empty message with the right addressee.
I cannot attach the certificate payload to this message because .mobileconfig is not an accepted file file type.
I also added [tt].mobileconfig[/tt] as an accepted forum filetype, so you should be able to attach it now…

Could you send it now, as it sounds like it is a valid attachment. Thanks!
This is the Mobileconfig file that I used on my iPhone (attached)
