I just got an iPhone 5 and the Home Wave app (v1.1) doesn’t scale to the new screen size. Probably needs to be tweaked?
Not a big deal. Still works just fine, but there is a small area of black empty screen at the top and bottom.

Correct, the app has to be tweaked for that. I haven’t got started on that so not sure how much work it will be. Often the devil is in the details ![]()
The upcoming v1.2 version will support the larger screen of the iPhone 5. New control screens will get an additional row of controls; existing screens will have the controls stretched to fit (or shrunk, if you load a screen created on an iPhone 5 onto a previous model).
In case of existing screens, you can use the grid button to shrink the controls again and add the extra row. If your screen has controls of varying sizes, that may be a challenge
For these cases there will be a button that creates a fresh uniformly sized grid and adds your existing controls, so that you can start the layout from scratch without having to add all your controls again.
Excellent. Thanks for the feedback.
Let me know if you need a beta tester.
Thanks for the great app…
It would be nice if you can increase the top menu height for iphone 5 version (since we have more vertical space), it will be easy to access edit buttons and it will look better as well…
Thanks
Nice suggestion… I’m still waiting for my iPhone 5, the simulator is a poor substitute to test look & feel ![]()
I’d be more than happy to beta test as well, now that I finally upgraded!
