I am getting a versa3 and i looked at the wiki but it seems dated. Is there very good IP cameras that pan / tilt with good night vision? Or what would be a good top 3 that will work with the versa to pick from?

Well, just got two Foscam FI8910W (this replaces FI8918 model) and they’re really good considering price. I’m already thinking about getting additional two…

Do you mean Vera 3? if so yes, it took me some time to figure it out at first but now they do work nicely
will the cameras work on vera2 with UI4?
Yes, they will work with UI4. You will need to install a few files to get them to work. In UI5, they work out of the box with only needing to add one file to get full pan/tilt to work.

Yes, there are a few threads that describe how to do this. It is pretty simple to do. Can be done via the web interface. Many of us on the forum can help you if you have any questions or run into any problems.

I don’t want to mess up the setup and redo the whole setup. I ran into sunset and sunrise issue and for some reason i had to reset and redo the whole setup again which took more than a week to rework the whole thing.

Looks like a tiny good camera but not sure about the support with vera !

cam is nice price is nice … shipping aint nice… they charge like 35€ for shipping and toll :-S
there is a foscam plugin for controls in the app market and i believe there is also a topic on it.

was it hard to impement in vera ?
