Anybody else having trouble controlling your network via iPad2 with iOS6?
I can’t control anything from my iPad yet if I update from my android I can see cpui5 update showing the state of the device but can’t control my network from either safari or chrome.
I’ve cleared cookies and cache as well as restarting the iPad after doing that.
edit
btw I also have no trouble using my laptop (windows) and controlling the network via cpui5 it’s just the iPad I’m having trouble with.
I am running IOS6 with both iPad and iPhone and not having any difficulty with commands not working. The responsiveness to commands to determine if they actually worked is lacking. As is any guide as to a node that is unresponsive. In general I have to go to ivera or MIPS to check for a unresponsive node (iVera shows it with a red dot).
Aggressive caching in iOS 6 might be the problem, as described in this Ars Technica article, [url=http://arstechnica.com/apple/2012/09/developers-claim-safari-in-ios-6-breaks-web-apps-with-aggressive-caching]September | 2012 | Ars Technica.
any idea’s on how to resolve this? I barely turn my computer on anymore and pretty much use my ipad for everything. have no issues with using my Android device but I like using my ipad especially when playing with/installing plugins
Just to add +1 to this post that the user experience via Safari on the IPAD2 is not good, multiple touches are now required for many buttons and the auto refresh (when switching between tabs) also does not work as well either.
(If I didn’t check the UI clock top right, I would not know the page has got stuck and the button presses were not working)
It actually made me think it was a problem with Vera at first, but since using any of the Apps the responsiveness and UI refresh is instant, it does very much point to IOS6
As I use my iPad as my main computer, this ‘issue’ is very much effecting the experience
Does anyone know if a Problem Record has been opened for this? (@MCVFLORIN?)
