I installed Alsteon (seems great!) to get the added device support, but seems iVera doesnt support alsteon devices (normal insteon is fine). Anyone know if there is a workaround to this or if there are others that do support alsteon? I really like the UI…

I am pretty sure HomeWave supports Altsteon.

Hmmm… ok. Any others. I really can’t stand Homewave’s UI. Totally a personal preference thing. I know… I’m picky

I understand everyone is different, but HomeWave is probably one of the most customizable apps I have used.
It lets you link anything anywhere…it has no relation to rooms in Vera, and any button can have any icon you want instead of the defaults. And only the items you want show up…everything else is hidden so there is zero chance of accidentally using it.
Anything can be almost any size, and items like dimmer, there are spinners, arrows, and sliders…each can be different.

I was about to give it a shot and then realized locks arent supported. That’s a deal breaker for me. :frowning:

Locks? In HomeWave? They are definitely supported…I have 3! And a garage door plugin looking like a lock.

Edit: Or do you mean locks in Altsteon showing up in HomeWave?

Oh interesting. In the ios App Store it says z-wave locks aren’t supported.

So you can lock and unlock, but not set PINs and schedules.
