Hi guys,
I am just trying to set up my Z-wave network and I am having some troubles. I am wiring everything according to the diagrams, but I have 2 locations (as of tonight) that do not work with the HA14 or the HA06 devices. I have tried several different Zwave switches and non of them work. If anyone has any help I would appreciate it. Thanks
Are you having trouble getting them to connect to your Z-Wave network or are you even having trouble getting them to function as normal switches? I just installed a HA06 today, works fine as a replacement for an older single-pole rocker switch. But so far I have not been able to get the Vera to recognize it at all.
Anybody know how to make the Vera see this z-wave device? Its supported according to the Supported Hardware list, but I can’t get it to work whatsoever.

have you tried excluding the device first then including it?
If you don’t know how- > Take the dongle out the vera bring it to the switch. Press and hold the button on the dongle till it blinks FAST (so its in exclude mode), then activate the switch. The dongle will blink a little then go solid for ~3 seconds. Tap the button on the dongle to shut it off. Tap the button on the dongle to put it back in add mode (the light will blink normally). Activate the switch. The dongle should blink a little than go solide for ~3 seconds. Bring the dongle back to the vera and plug it in. After a little bit when the vera gets the new info uploaded it will realize there’s a new device to configure under the z-wave devices.
If you can’t get the switch to exclude then try killing the power for a few seconds to clear the z wave chip in the switch and try again.
good luck
